About Us

First Apostolic Church is a Pentecostal, Multicultural, Spirit-Filled Church located in Ripley, TN. We believe the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ is still the power of God unto salvation for everyone that believes (Romans 1:16) and it is our vision & purpose to connect everyone to Jesus Christ.

At FAC, we believe in evangelism and discipleship for every age. Whether it's ministries that specifically serve children, youth, college/young adults, families, elders, ladies or men, you will find ways to connect with the body of Christ here.

First Apostolic Church is founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. We believe the Bible is still the ultimate authority on salvation and Christian living.  (2 Tim. 3:16; Heb 4:12)

We believe the Church has been “called out” of the world to be a habitation of God through the Spirit. (1 Pet 2:9; Eph 3:17-20) As the body of Christ on earth, the church offers hope to mankind. Jesus is the head of the church and we are made up of many members. (1 Cor 12:12; Col 1:18) As the Church, we must love Jesus and others and live holy lives, both inwardly and outwardly. (Mark 12:28-1; 2 Cor 7:1; Heb 12:14)

We believe there is only 1 God and Jesus is His name. We believe that in Jesus dwells the fulness of the Godhead (Col 2:9). God came to us manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ, born of a virgin (Matt 1:23); that He lived a sinless life (Heb 4:15), was crucified on calvary for our sins (Matt 26:28) and rose from the grave (Rom 6:9). Jesus has been exalted to the throne of God where He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Tim 2:5). We believe that through His death and life we have salvation and power for victorious living. (Rom 6:5-7)

We believe that all men have sinned and stand in need of salvation and redemption. (Rom 3:23)

We believe the Gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We obey the Gospel by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in Jesus’ Name (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit evidenced by speaking in an unknown tongue. (resurrection) (Acts 2:4, 2:38; 1 Cor 15:1-4; 1 Peter 4:17)

We believe in the gifts of the Spirit; tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles and healing. (Mark 16:15-18; 1 Cor 12:1-11)

We believe Jesus is coming back to receive His bride, the church, unto Himself and that we must be ready to meet Him! (John 14:3; Eph 5:27)
